My dear brother, Purushottam Shrestha, affectionately known as Pushpa, hails from Ward No. 4 of the Inaruwa Sub-municipality in Sunsari District, Province No. 1, Nepal. Enduring the relentless challenges of End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) due to prolonged hypertension, his health journey has been marked by unwavering resilience. The failure of both kidneys has directed Pushpa towards lifesaving dialysis treatments twice a week at Kathmandu Medical College (KMC), Sina Mangal, Kathmandu. With his spouse altruistically stepping forward as the kidney donor, Pushpa's path to a transplant has been regrettably demanding both medically and financially. Their extended stay in Kathmandu over six months has been necessary to prepare for this crucial procedure, yet it has critically disrupted their lives, including the unfortunate closure of their small business, their primary source of income. The considerable expenses incurred from previous treatments have exhausted their savings, intensifying the call for immediate financial assistance. Purushottam is now reliant on compassionate aid from charitable organizations, friends, family, and global philanthropists who harbor the goodwill to contribute, regardless of amount. Such benevolence is imperative to not only facilitate the transplant but also to sustain Pushpa’s ongoing healthcare needs. This fundraiser serves as a beacon of hope in this journey, where every contribution, regardless of size, is deeply appreciated and essential in restoring normalcy to Pushpa’s life. मेरो प्रिय दाइ, पुरुषोत्तम श्रेष्ठ, जसलाई सद्भावपूर्वक पुष्पा भनेर चिनिन्छ, सुनसरी जिल्लाको इनरुवा उप-महानगरपालिका, वडा नं. ४ भन्ने ठेगानाबाट आएका हुन्। लामो समयदेखि उच्च रक्तचापको समस्याका कारण अन्तिम चरणको मिर्गौला रोग (ESRD) को निरन्तर चुनौतीहरूको सामना गर्दै आएका छन्, जसमा उनको स्वास्थ्य यात्रा अठोट र कठिनाइको उदाहरण प्रस्तुत गर्दछ। दुबै मिर्गौलाको असफलताले पुष्पालाई काठमाडौँ मेडिकल कलेज (KMC), सिना मङ्गल, काठमाडौँमा हप्ताको दुई पटक जीवन बचाउने डायलसिस गर्नुपर्ने स्थिति सिर्जना गरेको छ। उनको जीवनसंगिनीले मिर्गौलाको दाता बन्ने उदार कदम चालेको हुँदा, पुष्पाको प्रत्यारोपणतर्फको यात्रा स्वास्थ्य र आर्थिक रूपमा अत्यन्तै चुनौतीपूर्ण भएको छ। यो महत्त्वपूर्ण प्रक्रियाको तयारीका लागि काठमाडौंमा छ महिना भन्दा लामो स्थायित्व आवश्यक परेको छ, जसले गर्दा उनीहरूको जीवनमा ठूलो अवरोध उत्पन्न भएको छ, समावेश गरेर उनीहरूको स-सानो व्यवसायको बन्द हुनु, जुन उनीहरूको मुख्य आयस्रोत थियो। पहिले गरिएका उपचारका कारण उनको बचत पनि सकिएको छ, जसले तत्काल आर्थिक सहयोगको आह्वान गरेको छ। पुरुषोत्तम अहिले धर्मार्थ संस्थाहरू, साथीहरू, परिवार, र विश्वव्यापी परोपकारीहरूमार्फत उदारतामा निर्भर छन्, जसले सानो वा ठूलो रकममा योगदान गर्न चाहन्छन्। यस्तो परोपकार मात्र प्रत्यारोपणको सुविधा दिन आवश्यक छैन तर पुष्पाको निरन्तर स्वास्थ्य सुविधा पनि जारी राख्न आवश्यक छ। यो कोष संकलन अभियान उनको जीवनमा सामान्यता पुनर्स्थापित गर्नको लागि यस यात्रामा आशाको दीप जस्तै सावित हुने छ, जहाँ प्रत्येक योगदान, साइजको परवाह नगरी, गहिरो रूपमा सराहना गरिन्छ। आउनुहोस्, हामी सामूहिक रूपमा यस महान कार्यलाई उदार मनका साथ समर्थन गरौं र पुष्पालाई फेरि स्वास्थ्य र खुशी भेट्न सक्ने कोसिस गरौं।
