Women are significantly underrepresented in STEM, only making up about 28% of the global STEM workforce. We are the Pusheen Machines, an all-girls Destination Imagination team dedicated to giving it our all.

We have chosen a Technical Challenge to compete, and we used the powers of STEM to complete our challenge. Our team also had to create a meaningful story where the characters act out a story of hardship, and we had a pleasurable time planning and acting it out. All of our hard work paid off, and after sweeping the Destination Imagination Regional Competition with a gold medal, we moved on to state. We faced fierce competition, and placed 5th out of +20 total challengers. Nevertheless, we advanced to the Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri, and we are absolutely hyped. There is only one obstacle in our path. The registration fee for the team is a whopping $5000, and the travel and lodging will not be cheap either. Altogether, we hope to raise at least $6000 to be able to afford to move on. Every dollar you donate to any cause counts, and we hope you will donate to ours. We depart for our trip on May 22nd.
