Help Me Get My Service Dog
Hey! I’m Sarabella, but everyone calls me Bella. I’m 15, and I’m really into ASL (sign language), dancing around the house, and face painting (my friends are usually my canvas). I’ve always loved working with kids, and someday I hope to make that part of my life.
This past school year has been a rough one. I was diagnosed with something called Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), and it’s made life a lot more complicated. I pass out randomly, have seizures, tics, chronic body pain, migraines, and sometimes I can’t move parts of my body. It’s scary, frustrating, and honestly just… exhausting.
I’ve had to give up a lot of the independence I used to have. Things like going to school or even walking through a store are hard now. But I’m trying to stay strong—and hopeful.
That’s why I’m raising money for a service dog.
A fully trained service dog would be able to:
- Warn me before I pass out or have a seizure
- Get help if I collapse
- Help me stay steady when I’m walking
- And let’s be honest… give the best cuddles ever
These dogs go through a ton of training, and it’s not cheap. We’re looking at about $30,000–$35,000 when you include the training, travel, gear, and vet stuff. My family is doing what we can, but we definitely need help.
If you can donate, share, or even just leave a kind message, it would mean the world to me. A service dog would help me feel safe again, get back some freedom, and remind me that this diagnosis doesn’t get to steal my future.
Thanks for reading my story—and thank you so much for supporting me.
Love,
Bella
