Puru Family Fund
This Group has been created to secure a Memorial fund for our MnR IT colleague Purushotham Emmadi who passed away on 4/27 due to COVID.
Puru worked with M&R Portals IT teams since the beginning of his career with Optum, 7.5 years ago. He joined as a developer and progressed to became a tech lead. He was part of all architectural discussions and a key contributor for our current architecture. He was somebody that all of the MnR Portals IT teams highly depended on. .
Puru should be remembered for more that just his work accomplishments For many on our teams he was a dear and close friend.
He was also a sweet and loving family man. He is survived by his wife, a homemaker, and a son who is 6 years of age. His sudden demise was especially shocking and unexpected for his family.
The MnR Portals IT team wants to institute a memorial fund that will help his family during this time of grief. It is a simple way for us to to show Puru's immediate family that his work family and friends equally grieve and care for them.
This fund will be managed by Mike Harwerth. When I close the Account, I will work with one of my US India team members to transfer the funds directly to Puru's surviving wife.
Requesting friends and colleagues across world to contribute to the fund.
