Pursuing the Esquire Scholarship and Org Fund

Pursuing the Esquire is an organization that supports aspiring minority lawyers get to and through law school through our pillars of access and mentorship. Our mentorship program provides personalized mentorship to each mentee, in-house success prep workshops, networking opportunities, and internship opportunities. Today, less than 10% of the legal profession in the United States is composed of minority lawyers. With all that is happening in our nation, the critical need for diverse voices representing the legal profession, communities, and the future of the legal system is important.
This organization was founded to diversify the legal profession and give a voice to rising attorneys who represent the communities that are often silenced, unheard, or underrepresented. Our goal is to create a pipeline for aspiring attorneys of color who desire to enter the legal profession.
Our mentees are students in their Junior and Senior year of college, First-Third Year law students, and Graduate students planning to attend law school in the United States and internationally. Representing both HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) and PWIs (Predominantly White Institutions), we support our students in their journey to pursuing the esquire.
Now, we need your help! In our fundraising initiative, our goal is to raise $25,000 to provide scholarships to our mentees to aid with tuition assistance and textbook fees and support our program.
Any amount is appreciated. If you are a company, organization, or individual and are interested in a donation package, please email us or visit our website at www.pursuingtheesquire.com
