Pursuing my piano studies in London

Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,

My name is Alfredo van de Munt, and I’m a pianist who recently graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Music has been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember, it’s how I express myself, connect with others, and make sense of the world.

I’m beyond excited (and honestly still a little in disbelief) to share that I’ve been accepted into the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London to continue my studies with a master’s degree in piano. Guildhall is one of the most respected music institutions in the world, and being accepted there feels like a dream coming true.

As much as I’m ready to pour my heart and soul into this next chapter, the financial reality is daunting. Tuition, housing and living costs in London all add up quickly. I’ve been working and saving, applying for grants and scholarships, but I can’t close the gap on my own.

That’s why I’m turning to you, even those I may not know yet who believe in the power of music and in helping young artists grow. If you’re able to support me in any way  whether with a donation, by sharing this campaign or simply sending a kind message, it would mean the world to me.
