Hello!

My name is Lipton Khan. I am a rising senior at SUNY Purchase's film BFA conservatory. Purple Horses Come Running Home is my senior thesis project— a short film about a trans man reconnecting with his sister after years of estrangement. It tells the story of Nigel and Kendra, two siblings torn apart, trying to figure out how to come back together after Nigel went no-contact five years ago in order to transition. This story is a love letter to my own sisters and family, and an expression of my own feelings about my life/coming out process.
