Purple Hearts for E’vaa… Your Memory Will Live On

My name is Tammie Garrett-Edwards (MaMa). It is with tremendous sadness that we meet here today under such tragic circumstances. Little E’vaa was a 10-year-old, vibrant, loving, caring, compassionate, multitalented, and ambitious little girl who had wisdom that set her apart from others her age. She was a leader and a go-getter, who is loved by many and has impacted the lives of anyone that she came in contact with in a positive manner. An accidental shooting claimed her life on 1/28/2025. We pray that E’vaa’s unfortunate circumstances will help to raise awareness for the importance of gun safety especially where children may have access. She will be truly missed but never forgotten.

So I set this GoFundMe up today on behalf of her Mom (Faith) and Dad (Robert) to help with the expenses for celebration of life services and burial to lay our beloved E’vaa to rest.
