Help Purlates Create a Permanent Sanctuary for Kittens and Cats in Need

For the past year, Purlates has been dedicated to creating a safe, loving space for kittens in need through our pop-up kitten pilates experiences. What started as a way to bring people and rescue animals together has grown into a community-driven mission focused on saving lives and helping cats find the love and care they deserve.

Through our pop-ups, we have been able to raise over $10,000 to support rescue efforts and helped more than 300 kittens through foster placements and adoptions. Each class has shown us how powerful it can be when people come together to support animals in need.

Now, we are ready to take the next step!

We are raising funds to create a permanent Purlates Kitten Sanctuary — a safe, stable environment in NYC where kittens and cats can receive ongoing care, shelter, and love.

This sanctuary will allow us to help not only vulnerable kittens, but also adult cats and special-needs cats who may need more time, patience, and a calm environment before finding their forever homes.

Every dollar donated will go directly toward caring for the cats at the sanctuary. Your support will help cover essential everyday needs, including: Food, Litter, Beds and cozy resting spaces, Toys and enrichment, Cleaning and sanitation supplies, Daily care, supplies that keep the cats healthy, comfortable, and safe.
