Hi -
My name is Cass Kristensen. I'm a former NICU nurse who has spent over 20 years working in healthcare, and I’ve seen firsthand how deep the cracks run in our system, especially for mental health care, for marginalized mothers, caregivers, and newborns.
As a mother, a nurse practitioner, a psychiatric provider, and a human being, I can’t unsee the suffering, and I am passionate about doing something about it.
I’m building a practice rooted in social justice, equity, and care, a place where marginalized caregivers and their babies can receive compassionate, integrative mental health support during life’s most vulnerable transitions: pregnancy, postpartum, early parenting, and beyond.
Because this is how we mitigate transgenerational trauma.
This is how we prevent future mental health disorders. This is how we strengthen our families, our communities, and our country. From the very beginning of life, this is how we support our country's next generation.
I love this country. I love our people. But I see the pain we’re in, and I know that real healing will take a collective. We are living in profoundly difficult times. And we cannot afford to wait for a broken system to fix itself.
I believe in collective change. I believe in care that reaches beyond clinic walls. And I believe that every family, regardless of income, identity, or background, needs support.
That’s why I created the Shared Healing Initiative, a fund to help cover the cost of mental healthcare, therapy, and group care for individuals who would otherwise go without.
If this vision speaks to you, please consider donating. Your contribution helps lay the foundation for a practice that gives back, breaks cycles, and brings hope to the next generation.
This isn’t charity. It’s community. It’s consciousness.
And it’s a step toward a more just, connected, and healed world.

Every single contribution, no matter the size, is a contribution to love. It is a ripple that moves outward: from you, to a struggling caregiver, to a newborn just beginning life, and into the generations to come. When we support mental health at the roots, we don’t just ease suffering, we begin to break cycles. We plant seeds of safety, connection, and hope that will grow long beyond our lifetime.
This is how we build something bigger than ourselves.
This is how we rise - together.
The future generations may never know your name, but they will live in the world your generosity helped create.
Thank you for your donation. Thank you for your love.
