Donate to the new generator in Monastery Road

On January 9th, our generator on Monastery Road suddenly gave in and stopped working. After being examined by the electrical technician, it was deemed broken beyond repair, and the club executive was informed that a new generator was to be purchased.

Thanks to the hard work of Ed O'Malley and our facilities committee, a brand new generator was fitted and installed on January 17th.

As a club, it was decided that a brand new generator would be best suited due to the high usage of our facilities by the club and community. The new generator has a lifespan of 10 years, which will serve the members of Round Tower GAA and the Clondalkin community at this time. On average, Monastery Road hosts training sessions for over 1,000 children from our club and local schools using the facility weekly. We also welcome up the local community twice a week as our walking track lights up, allowing for a safe space for people to walk in the dark evenings.

This unexpected cost has hit the club's finances hard, and we are asking for the support of our members and the local community. If you are in a position to support, please donate to our GoFundMe campaign to assist with the costs in whatever way you can.
