Hello, my name is Marina. I am a single mother and recently my car was stolen out of my parking garage at my house. I am starting this go fund me in hopes to help me get a new car and repurchase all of the items for my babies (examples car seat, etc) and for work equipment that was in my vehicle. Unfortunately, I did not have enough money for full coverage and I only had liability and I recently got liability insurance because I got hired to be a mobile phlebotomist. I acquired all the necessary equipment needed and insured my vehicle so I can secure my job that I was supposed to start this coming week. However, I was working and got laid off due to covid being over. I am getting unemployment but they are barely giving 1/4 of what my rent is. Right now I am mom feeling overwhelmed and completely in over my head, my children’s schools aren’t within walking distance, I have a middle school aged child, one in elementary and one in day care. It’s been a struggle just finding a way to get them from point A to B and it hasn’t even been a week without a vehicle. Any and every donation is appreciated, I owe a little over $9000 on my car and since I just had liability I will still be responsible for paying the balance and I still have to find another form of transportation. This has been a difficult situation to process because I’ve worked so hard for everything I have to support any provide for my children and myself so Anything helps !
