Hello, my name is Billy. I have been working within dog rescue for the last 20 years. I am a dog trainer and behaviourist. Many years ago I was also a veterinary nurse working in rescues, I finally decided to start up my own rescue years ago. I dedicate my life to dogs and after a long time planning to save up and be able to buy some land I have been lucky enough to now be able to purchase somewhere I can expand in order to help even more of those in need.

My rescue is called Crazy K9s. The reason behind the name is due to the dogs we help, a lot of them are claimed to have serious behavioural issues but with time and dedication these dogs become some of the most loving companions. We often see many dogs who end up in situations where they are in need of rehoming whether being signed over, abandoned, neglected etc. Our rescue focuses more so on the working breeds but we will never turn away a dog in need of help. We have a lot of experience with dogs showing aggression, fear reactivity, dog and people reactivity and other issues, this is where we step in. We have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed many dogs over the years who originally came into us with mild to severe behavioural issues. We have worked tirelessly to rehabilitate them and place them into suitable homes. We have also been lucky enough to work alongside the council and on a few occasions also the police.

We now have the opportunity to help even more dogs with the space we now have. We are looking to purchase some more kennels in order to offer more spaces to the dogs who are in need. We have kindly been offered a large kennel block for £5,000 which is very cheap compared to what is being offered but unfortunately we are unable to afford this outright. We are asking for the public’s help to purchase these kennels so we can offer more spaces to those in need.

We have attached some photos of the dogs in our care, we have also attached a picture of one of our fields where we are renovating in hopes we can purchase the kennels we are in need of.
