My name is Tj. I'm building a media and production company that is rooted in storytelling, healing, and truth. BALM was born from a desire to create films, series, documentaries, and visuals that reflect the lived experiences, brilliance, and voices of black women, the black community, and those committed to transformational art. Our stories deserve to be told by us - with full ownership, intention, and reverence.

While I have the vision, experience, creativity, and drive- what I need now is support to build the foundation.

What BALM represents?

Balance -restoring harmony in how our stories are told and who gets to tell them.

Art- Using creativity as resistance, expression, and healing.

liberation- shifting narratives, reclaiming voice, and expanding what's possible for us.

BALM is more than a media company- it is a movement of storytelling that fosters a creative outlet for healing, culture and legacy through documentaries, films, series, collaborations, and various projects involving women, community and spirituality.
