Meet Chrissy and her amazing son, Nathaniel. Nathaniel is a bright, resilient young boy living with muscular dystrophy and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). His smile lights up every room, but day-to-day life comes with challenges that most of us can hardly imagine.

Chrissy is a single mom who works full-time to provide for Nathaniel completely on her own, without any support from his father. She does it all — juggling work, doctor appointments, therapies, and the countless needs of caring for a child with complex medical challenges. She rarely has a moment for herself, but she never stops fighting to give her son the best life possible.

One of the biggest struggles right now is transportation. Nathaniel uses a wheelchair, and Chrissy’s current vehicle doesn’t meet his needs. Every trip to school, therapy, or a doctor’s appointment is physically exhausting, time-consuming, and unsafe without proper accommodations. What they desperately need is a handicap-accessible vehicle with a wheelchair ramp.

Unfortunately, on her own, Chrissy simply can’t afford such a large expense. Despite working hard, making ends meet is already a daily battle. That’s where we’re hoping this community can come together to make a real difference.
