Many of you know me for my ongoing restoration of Shaunavon's Grand Hotel.

This past weekend, my only running/driving car was stolen from my backyard, joyridden around town for 2 hours and returned badly damaged. Tools I had in the trunk were covered in paint, gasoline poured into my car, my car was walked on and numerous body panels dented.

My car was old - a 1992 Chevy Caprice- but I was in the midst of restoring it. Many mechanical items were replaced and I had just redid both quarter panels.

I am pay cheque to pay cheque working as a CCA in Shaunavon to help fund my hotel restoration and this has been a huge hit financially but also to my mental health- which has been in itself a struggle for the past 5 years.

Any funds donated will go towards the purchase of a reliable vehicle, replacing damaged tools and if any extra, towards the ongoing restoration costs of the Grand Hotel.
