Our journey as a small, black-owned, family-run business has been defined by our unwavering commitment to excellence. With passion and dedication, we have crafted incredible desserts that not only tantalize the taste buds but also nourish the body and soul. Every creation is a reflection of our dedication to quality, using locally-sourced, organic ingredients. Our commitment to excellence has been recognized as we were chosen as the featured dessert for the NFL Superbowl 56 VIP Tailgate Party and the 2023 Grammys. These accomplishments serve as a testament to our relentless pursuit of culinary excellence and our unwavering spirit of delivering nothing but the best to our valued customers. However, at this moment, we are faced with a pressing need that requires your support.

I am thrilled to share with you that we have recently moved into a brand new, state-of-the-art kitchen space spanning 1,800 square feet. This expansion is a significant milestone for Art Delectables and represents the culmination of years of hard work and determination. With this larger kitchen, we have the opportunity to increase our production capacity, improve efficiency, and better serve our growing customer base.

However, this new kitchen comes with its own set of challenges. To meet the rigorous standards set forth by the California Health Department, we have invested over $40,000 in upgrading our facilities. We have spared no expense in ensuring that our kitchen meets the highest sanitation and safety requirements. We have installed a state-of-the-art hot water heater for impeccable cleanliness, upgraded our exhaust system to an Ansul fire system for enhanced safety measures, and expanded and improved our walk-in refrigerator for optimal ingredient storage. Additionally, we have acquired a cheesecake cutter to enhance production and maintain exceptional quality control.

While we are immensely proud of these upgrades, there is one crucial piece of equipment we urgently need: a new deck oven. Our beloved 25-year-old oven, affectionately named Betty, has been the heart and soul of our kitchen. Over the years, Betty has baked countless delectable creations, bringing joy to our customers. However, she is now showing signs of wear and tear, compromising our ability to deliver the same level of perfection. To continue creating our amazing desserts, we must invest in a new oven, which comes with an estimated cost of $35,000.
