Tuesday afternoon our house caught fire. We’re currently staying out of a hotel while waiting to see what insurance says the next steps are. To be honest, a lot of this feels unreal still. We don’t really have a “goal” but many people have been asking for a way to contribute financially so we decided to set this up. Of course we don’t want anyone to feel obligated, but we greatly appreciate those that have been willing to help. Right now our focus is getting basic necessities like clothes, toiletries and food. Hopefully we’ll get some answers from our insurance soon so we can start to rebuild. We’re also looking for boarding for our pet pig, as sadly he was the only 4 legged family member that made it.
