Pups Pub is fighting to keep Florida dog bars open

Pups Pub is leading the pack to keep dog bars open!
Dog bars like Pups Pub have become popular here in Florida and similar concepts are starting to pop up around the country. The Florida Department of Health (FLDOH) has permitted more than a dozen dog bars including Pups Pub Tampa and Pups Pub Orlando to open and operate over the past five years; however, the FLDOH suddenly (without cause or reason) reversed their interpretation of a non-applicable food code (we don't serve food) to ban dogs from going inside. Pups Pub was targeted by the FLDOH last year after opening its second location in downtown Orlando which started a year-long legal battle costing Pups Pub over $100k in the process... But Pups Pub prevailed and WON the case A Florida judge even awarded Pups Pub's legal fees to be reimbursed by the FLDOH!! Florida law currently permits dogs inside dog bars thanks to Pups Pub, but the FLDOH recently appealed the ruling which delays the legal fee reimbursement.
