Louie the Greek street pup needs your help
Donazione protetta
While vacationing in Greece I wasn't expecting to see so many homeless dogs and cats. One in particular captured my heart. Baby Louie was a starving Santorini street dog. He was too scared to approach any of the tourists for handouts. Instead he would hide amongst the Oia castle ruins. His days were numbered. Most street dogs in Greece don't live past their first year and the end of tourist season was quickly approaching . The stories you hear of these dogs being poisoned and shot are indeed true. With a lot of help from the tourists and shop owners I was able to get poor Louie off the streets and to a veterinarian for immediate assistance. What next? I am now home and working with a rescue group in Santorini who will oversee his care until I can raise enough money for his transportation to San Diego where he will have the life he deserves. Please help a little or a lot to save this one beautiful creature. Your donations will help cover the cost of his travel and medical needs. Thanks in advance for giving what you can. Even the smallest donation will help greatly! Once here he will have a wonderful life. Will you please help me bring Louie home?
