Help Bruce, Our Beloved Fox Red Labrador, Get the Care He Needs

Bruce is just 9 months old, and his young life has already been turned upside down by a serious health issue. This adorable Fox Red Labrador was just living his best life, bringing joy to everyone around him, until a sudden swelling in his throat sent him on a perilous journey to the vet's office.

After a series of tests, antibiotics, and steroids, it became clear that Bruce's condition was more severe than initially thought. A CT scan revealed a huge abscess that required emergency surgery. Thanks to the quick actions of our amazing vets, Bruce is now home and recovering, but his journey is far from over.

The lump is returning, and Bruce needs further treatment, possibly even more surgery. The costs are piling up, and we're struggling to keep up. So far, the bill has reached £7,000, and our insurance only covers £2,000. We've managed to pay £3,000, but we're finding it hard to make ends meet, especially with a payment plan in place for the remaining amount.

As a family, we're facing some tough challenges. I have mental health issues, including autism, PTSD, and borderline personality disorder, which make it difficult for me to cope with the stress of Bruce's illness. My husband is also unwell, and we're struggling financially. Losing our previous dog was devastating, and we've been through a lot as a family, including a long hospital stays and a traumatic experience.

But Bruce is a fighter, and he's brought so much joy and love into our lives. He's a fun, loving goofball who deserves a chance to live a happy, healthy life.
