Our sweet puppy Daytona has been through more than any little one should.

After a sudden and tragic cat scratch accident she suffered a severe eye injury that required emergency specialist surgery. Despite everyone’s best efforts to save her eye, it had to be removed to prevent her from living in pain. The surgery was successful, and we are incredibly grateful to share that she is now recovering and doing well.

She is just a baby, gentle, loving, and full of life, and our only goal throughout this has been to give her the chance to grow up comfortable happy and pain free. The emergency ophthalmology care, surgery, hospitalization, medications, and follow up treatment have come to a total of $7,500.

This was completely unexpected, and while we would do it all again for her in a heartbeat, the financial impact has been overwhelming. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing her story would mean more to us than we can put into words.

Thank you for helping us give her the healthy, joyful life she deserves❤️
