Bama needs a laparotomy(intestinal biopsy)

Hello! I wish it was under better circumstances to introduce our little family, but: my name is Jordan, my boyfriend is Garet, and our 11 month old puppy is named Bama. Bama is half Great Pyrenees mixed with a crazy amount of breeds (but 10% chihuahua and 10 % pitbull primarily make up the other half) !
My boyfriend and I found Bama on the side of a rural highway, in Alabama (hence his name!), around the first week of May 2023. As soon as we met him, we knew he was going to be ours even though we knew it would be challenging getting him to Colorado. We were able to drive him the 24 hours back home with some crazy, last minute accommodations! Since then, he has been enjoying his first snow (along with the few that have followed), cat friends plus lots of puppy friends, whipped cream, green beans (hes obsessed frozen or fresh), and all the luxuries of his new life + a ton of people that love him intensely .❤️

He has been getting home treatment or in an out of the vet since we found him in May 2023. Just a few examples include: •countless flea and tick baths with medication (internal and external) for his first two months us as a result of his neglectful time in the south;
•he had to be dewormed twice but thankfully just does a monthly preventative chewy now
• special Biome and puppy food to account for his stunted growth and fragile GI tract;
He had a Barium x ray series (intensely visble laxative followed by x rays every two hours for a whole business day) at the beginnng of September
• sporadic checkups for GI and abdominal issues over the last 7 months. He is the most expensive, free puppy ever. I would give everything i have material and monetary to keep him. Unfortunately the vet is not a pawn shop; and between our two senior cats and Bama the vet has practically memorized my credit card number. If you've had the opportunity to meet him, then you know he is one of the sweetest dogs with such an old, loving soul. If you haven't, then I hope you can imagine the dog you've been waiting for/always wanting.

His total surgery will be $4,400 on the low end with a 10-14 day recovery period. Since Christmas is right around the corner, this couldn't have come at a more overwhelming time.
Anything is very appreciated.
