Pupcakes Rescue Sober October & NOvember
Donation protected
Hi. I am once again doing a dry month for the incredible Pupcakes Rescue which means absolutely no alcohol for 31 days. I’ve chosen October as not only is it my daughter’s birthday, but also that of the lovely Liz aka Pupcakes, so what better way to celebrate her birthday than helping her rescue by providing some much needed funds.
Not only do this amazing rescue help me with my rehomes on COCUK where I’m one of the rehome admin as they take any that have RG issues etc, but they also save so many dogs of all breeds from being pts. One recent one in particular broke my heart. A sweet little girl was rehomed by her family of two years. Once in the new home she bit the resident child, so old family collected her and took her straight to the vets to be pts. This little girl had never shown any kind of aggression in her old home of two years, yet they insisted she was pts. Thankfully the vet contacted Pupcakes and she’s now safe, much to her old family’s annoyance. The photo of this sweet scared little girl muzzled and double leaded will stay with me for a very long time.
The above is just one of many sad stories, BUT Pupcakes also help many families who have tried everything and have nowhere else to turn. They give these families a lifeline for which I’m truly grateful.
Thank you for reading my story of why I’d like to raise as much as possible and I appreciate any amount donated no matter how small, as every penny goes towards the care of these beautiful dogs who are loved beyond measure by the Pupcakes family
