Hi, I’m Kim, a 43-year-old mom, esthetician, and aspiring jewelry designer on a 14-year path to heal my mind, body, and soul. I lost 50 lbs in 4 months through dedicated fitness, achieved sobriety nearly 3 years ago, and managed hypothyroidism without medication using diet and wellness routines. Now, I’m committed to healing chronic back pain from an L5 disc herniation, L4 disc bulge, and spinal stenosis, which causes back pain, sacral ache, and nerve pain radiating down my legs. The pain makes standing for waxing sessions excruciating and disrupts my fitness routine, forcing me to take weeks off work over 10 times in the past 2 years. This has been a physical and mental struggle. As a neurodivergent person with sensory sensitivities, my challenges are greater, but my resolve is stronger. I’m determined to shine, transitioning from my past career to pursue jewelry-making, continue as an esthetician, and live healthily with a clean diet, exercise, physical therapy, red light therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and minimal meds. My goal is to heal my spine, reclaim my joy, and inspire others through my art.
