Sick pupper's recovery

I’m Pup Acute, a student living in London.

When I was 15 I came out to my zealously religious parents, who surprisingly did not take it well. I was kick out of the house and for a couple of months lived on the streets of Bratislava. I have managed to move past much of what happened, but things happened to me while I was homeless that I cannot talk about. Through this though there was a ray of hope, an amazing teacher helped me and I was still able to attend school during the day. Finally, my dreams came true and I got into a University in London.
My life in London is everything I could want. Even though I’m working 3 jobs, I get to study still and have a place to stay. Every day takes me further from the life I suffered through.
In October 2016, after being in London for 6 months, I was diagnosed with rare and aggressive inner ear cancer. Day to day activities have become very difficult (I have lost all sense of balance and am deaf in one ear), but I am still working hard and have made it this far! There is a surgery coming up, one that can save my life. Medically it is all taken care of, but I will not be able to work for the month it takes me to recover. I will have no way to pay my rent or get food, so a friend proposed I reach out for support from elsewhere.
If you could help me in any way, it would make my recovery time so much easier and bearable, without the additional stress about finances. Any money I don’t need (or should the surgery go badly ☹) will be donated to cancer research, to help puppers who get sick in the future.
