Pup and I like to play outdoors not live there.

Hi, My name is Blake, and I am a black lab puppy. Kate, pictured here, is my primary caregiver and number one fan. Not to boast, but she is crazy about me. Kate loves caring for me. Supporting a little being like me who brings unconditional love is rewarding, so she always puts me first. After all, one can't buy unconditional love in the marketplace or anywhere else. Since December 30, 2021, Kate's been unemployed due to a nasty case of burnout. (She is a mental health clinician for 20 years). After three months, Kate began healing from burnout when a nice person identified it and began helping her.
Burnout is not funny or fun. It's a real thing with lots of contributing factors. It makes it impossible for one to perform up to one's capability. Kate would not apply for unemployment because she resigned from her position. She did not want to try to make an employer pay for her decisions. She also said, "social security takes eight months to get" and she missed the sign up window cause she didn't feel too good . Her concentration was poor. ( I use alot of big words for a little puppy don't I?) Anyway, as a result, Kate used all of her savings between January and May. The cupboard became bare, as old mother Hubbard used to say.
Now Kate goes to a Mission for food. She is behind on her bills. She lost her car to the bank. Kate has a truck that gets her around, but that payment is now two weeks late. Kate could not yet pay rent for May, and June is coming up fast.
We like living where we are. It is safe and comfortable. It is reasonably priced for an apartment in today's market. Although I have never met a cat, many dog lovers, puppy dogs and I am told, cats live here. I only read about cats in a book. Kate is asking for your help for two months of rent and one truck payment because like we said, we love the outdoors but, we don't want to have to live there. She is resourceful yet, has exhausted all outside help except the food pantry. Kate starts a brand new full-time job on Monday May 23,2022. This job will help her catch up and give back.
Once life has taken us to a scary and difficult place we can realize the importance of giving back rom the inside out . You don't even have to think about it. It just happens if you don't become bitter. Today, we saw a man near a whole lot of stores with a bucket of not so great flowers. He had a sign asking for donations in order to help his family. Kate, who learned to be kind of cynical before she got burnt out, only had two dollars. She gave them to him. He was a nice man and, we just knew how hard it can be. While hard conditions can soften our hearts, I also want to remind you all that the unconditional love of us puppies softens our hearts even more. I wouldn't be a puppy if I didn't say that. We are both the real deal. We thank you for your gifts.
