Punkdad takes over Dad2summit

THE DAD 2.0 SUMMIT is an annual conference where marketers, social media leaders, and blogging parents connect to discuss the changing voice and perception of modern fatherhood.

But alternative type fathers that are younger, heavily tattooed and or pierced, have same sex partners, work in fields that make life with children stressful and sometimes a struggle, and fathers that struggle with having their family on government assistance are greatly underrepresented.

Blogger Punkdad (punkdad.com) wants to be able to attend the summit and show that fathers like these are increasing in numbers and should be a target to marketers and have a strong voice in the parenting community online.


The goal is for a Amtrak room (due to my fear of flying), a ticket to the conference and a room at the Marriott where the conference is being held. Know that no matter what I have to do to get there I will (even fly or bus) and I have NO issue staying in a roadside motel and walking to the summit, but the ticket is what is in quickest need before they sell out (less than half are left).
