All You Need Is Love

In honour of a life dedicated to helping and loving animals, Brydie and I would like to raise funds for two charities close to mums heart.
Anyone who knew Mum, knew of her immense love of animals. She would donate her time and money to helping any four-legged friends in need. She always believed animals were better than people even to the point that the dogs got first dibs on the front seat when going for a drive. Mum would put any animals needs before her own, whether it be stopping for a fox with its head stuck in a can, helping a cockatoo that had broken its wing (even though she was afraid of a birds unpredictability), fostering kittens over Xmas so they weren't alone during the holidays, moving a turtle off a busy street, or guiding a family of ducks safely across the road. Mum gave the animals that everyone had given up on a chance at life. She was a voice for the voiceless. During our lifetime, mum rescued over 15 animals and provided them a loving 'forever home', not including the many furry friends that enjoyed short term stays, until their perfect family was found.
The two charities we would like to raise money for, on behalf of mum, are NSW Bull Terrier Rescue and Sydney Dogs and Cats Home. Mum had her dream dog in Lola, a Bull Terrier X Keeshond. But sadly had to make the toughest decision of her life by rehoming her due to the sudden decline in her health. Bully Rescue helped us find the perfect new family for Lolly.
As fate may have it, this new family also owned Lola's birth sister, who is now her best friend. Despite the heartache, Mum was overjoyed to see her beautiful girl living her best life.
Sydney Dogs and Cats Home represent all that Mum believed in.
"Everybody needs a home - a place where you can truly be yourself, and feel safe and loved."
Please dig deep to help us honour and celebrate a truly beautiful woman and life, that was sadly taken from us far too soon.
