Hi everyone,
Meet Pumpkin — a sweet orange kitten I recently rescued from behind a Lee’s Chicken parking lot in Sandusky, Ohio. His eye is ruptured, and he was clearly feeling discomfort — but when I approached, he still purred and leaned in for love.
I took Pumpkin to the vet where it was confirmed that his eye is ruptured and he has feline herpes, but thankfully, he tested negative for feline HIV and leukemia. With treatment, he can go on to live a long, happy, and healthy life.
Here’s the breakdown of his medical costs so far:
• Initial exam & vaccines: $232
• Upcoming surgery (eye removal, neuter, boosters): $1,200–1,300
I’m asking for help to give Pumpkin the life he deserves — pain-free, safe, and loved. Every dollar helps. If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this post means the world.
Pumpkin is already showing his resilient little spirit. Let’s give him the second chance he deserves. Once he has recovered from surgery, I will be looking to find him the amazing home he deserves. (If you think that could be you.. please reach out!)
Thank you so much.
