PULSE Retreats Sound Equipment Theft

PULSE is a faith-based organization dedicated to leading students to an authentic encounter with the person of Christ. PULSE facilitates school retreats and events that inspire the heart and convict the mind, providing resources for continued growth for students.  Over the years, PULSE has touched the lives of students in over 400 schools all across Canada.

On February 16th, our friends at PULSE went to their garage to retrieve items from the company’s trailer and discovered they had been robbed.  Unfortunately, a great deal of sound and lighting equipment was taken, including items such as microphones, sound mixer, guitar pedals, lighting gear, and other specialized custom gear.  In total, over 30 pieces of crucial equipment were stolen, causing approximately $9500 in losses to the organization.

The theft was reported to the Saskatoon Police Service and their pawn unit will keep an eye on some of the serial numbers that were able to be submitted.

This crime will have a substantial and devastating impact on PULSE.  In order to ensure that the quality and effectiveness of PULSE retreats is maintained, this essential sound and lighting equipment will need to be replaced.  This GoFundMe campaign was created to help PULSE continue with their work of evangelization in schools and to replace the stolen equipment.  Please prayerfully consider donating to this cause.  Any amount that you can contribute would be greatly appreciated and will directly impact the lives of thousands of young students.
