Here is the link to all the information about the fund and the PROFILES of the beneficiaries
This fund was started off in 2017 using personal funds to try and support young and talented girls in Kenya, East Africa who are unable to meet their educational goals due to lack of funds. The girls selected are either orphans, come from homes in abject poverty, or from a home where the breadwinning parent has abandoned them. The downturn in the economy due to COVID19 has depleted most funds that were being used to support them.
So far, several girls have been impacted positively and three have completed their courses, whilst four more are in progress. I am imploring anybody who is touched by the value of education to chip in to this cause where possible using as little or as much financial resource as is possible. The goal is to be able to help tens and possibly hundreds of others!
“Pull One Up”: If we can pull up one young woman up, she too, in turn can pull up another 5 women or more in the future. A positive chain reaction can pay it forward for generations to come.
There are currently 5 girls in the program who need urgent assistance so as not to drop out of school. There is also one boy who is a brother to one of the needy girls, he too cannot be left behind.
