Pulling with Levi's Family
Donation protected
Levi James Keller was like many little boys: he loved soccer, baseball, dogs, fishing, water guns and tractors. He enjoyed playing tricks on his older brother and two sisters, riding four wheelers with his dad, and snuggling with his mama. As he ran barefoot across the yard, his wavy brown hair would flop around his face, and his big brown eyes would sparkle with joy. But for much of his 5.5 years on this earth, he battled a rare form of cancer—one that took his life on March 31, 2025.
Levi fought hard with both physical stamina and with faith. To look at his last test scans, you’d expect to see a child writhing in pain, but you did not. To look at his life, you’d expect to see a child resentful and fearful, but you did not. Instead, Levi loved big and he loved well with a faith that was strong.
One day, on one of the many two-hour trips to the hospital, he told his mama he wasn’t scared because he knew God was in control. “I love God,” he said. Today, he is with God in heaven.
His parents, Dustin and Jessie, and Levi’s brother and two sisters are now in a season of re-building—determining what their “new normal” is, and pressing close into their faith each day. Much of the last three years has been consumed with doctor’s appointments, phone calls, struggling with insurance companies, prescription medication, chemotherapy, radiation, and scans. His parents and his sisters sacrificed their personal needs to prioritize Levi’s care. The battle isn’t over yet, however. Levi is gone, and the medical bills are not.
Whether you know the Keller family personally or you’re moved by their story, please consider making a donation in memory of Levi to help alleviate the burden of medical bills that remain from his cancer battle. Every donation—big or small—will make a meaningful difference to this family. This is just one tangible way to say “we love you and support your family.”
Thank you for reading this story and considering a gift to Levi’s family, so his parents and sisters can focus on what matters most: healing, family, and hope.
Love big. Love well.
