Pulling Teeth Short Film

Pulling Teeth is Emerson student Lulu Dalzell's Bachelor of Fine Arts thesis short film. The film follows Andrew, a lost thirty year old, after a particularly brutal breakup with his dentist ex-girlfriend. In order to win her back, he intentionally smashes all of his front teeth. She sees him for an appointment and they are confronted with the nitty-gritty of their past relationship.

Lulu is a current junior at Emerson College studying Media Arts Production. Her BFA thesis project is a two semester long process, crafting everything she has been studying into a final short film.

All donations will go towards renting a dental practice for on-location filming, payment for SAG-AFTRA actors, SFX makeup artists, film equipment, and transportation.

This film will be shot in May on the ARRI Alexa 35 camera.
