Portia was admitted to the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center for a liver transplant.  With her liver failing it has in turn led to further issues with her kidneys where she has needed to have consistent dialysis treatments.  There is good news where Portia recently has been expedited as well as approved to receive a donor and has been placed on the waiting list. This is amazing as waiting on a liver donor typically takes some time. The level of her condition is critical and the priority of her care is very high. We need your support and prayers for her and her family.

Portia is a wonderful person admired by many. She has a lot of fight left in her and as always in high spirit. She has always been there for anyone needing help. Personally she has made an impact in my life and I know others can say the same. We want to encourage everyone to share positive thoughts, experiences, and share the light she has shared with all of us. We need your support and prayers, "we are looking for angels in our darkest hour". Please take the time to be grateful, hopeful, and appreciative of life and what it has to offer. It is extremely costly to be in the hospital for long periods of time especially with the surgery that is required in order to get Portia healthy again.  Whether it is a dollar or just reaching out to Portia to show your support to her and her family, anything is greatly appreciated.  We would like to encourage everyone to do whatever they can for this truly amazing person.
