Aloha!

We are the Pukalani STEM Imagineer Robotics Team! Our team of five bright and motivated 3rd, 4th and 5th graders are excited to share that we have qualified to compete at the CREATE VEX IQ Robotics National Championship in Iowa!

During this season, our team has competed in numerous competitions on Maui and also on Oahu. We won several awards including the Design award, and the Judges' award! Due to these accomplishments, our team has been invited to represent Hawaii at the Create U.S. Open Robotics Championship in Council Bluffs, Iowa in March 2023! Our robotics team is so much more than simply building robots. What is more important than success and awards is the fact that through these experiences, we are all learning how to work hard as a team, persevere, and build and manage projects. This has taught us lessons that will make us leaders for the future! We are extremely excited for this opportunity to travel and compete! For the entire team, this will be the first opportunity to compete outside of our island and state.

Within the next two months, our goal is to raise $10,600. Your donation will be used to cover costs of lodging and transportation for our students and coaches to get from Maui to Iowa, as well as additional expenses including competition registration fees. It is through the continued support from our 'ohana, friends, community and businesses that our team will be able to compete! Any amount that you can donate to our team will help tremendously.
