Please Help Me Help Her

Donation protected
Beatriz, Betty, Bea, Ms. Espinoza, Ms, Garcia,

Anyone who knows me probably knows my mom, and depending who you are is how you may know her, whether you’re a friend, family, a student, or just someone who had the pleasure of meeting her you know she’s one amazing person.  I’ve grown up being told how much I look and sound and act like her, and I honestly wish I could be half the person she is. We don’t always see eye to eye and I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way, but she’s been there to pick me up, and guide me, and help me to be the best person I can be. That’s all she’s ever asked of me.

Now anyone who knows my mom also probably knows that her heart knows no limits in helping others. Whether it was waiting for my teammates to get picked up after practice or making sure everyone had something to eat. She’d give, and do, almost anything to help someone she saw in need. The one thing she’d usually ask in return is to not be recognized for it. She’s always helped her friends, her family, anyone really, because she wants to and because she can. The one thing she has rarely ever done is ask for help in return because she doesn’t want to inconvenience others despite the position we may have been in and we’ve been in some pretty rough places. But of course, she’s never told anyone that and that’s not what this is about.

In respect to my mom and her privacy I’ll keep this as general as possible, there are some health concerns involving my mom that require her to see a specialist and will most likely require medications and possible surgery. We won’t know how severe any of this is until she sees a specialist which will cost money and from there she’ll either need ongoing medications or surgery and still most likely medications which will get costly.  Now my mom may not be one to ask for help, but for my mom I would, and am asking, pleading, begging, and praying for any and all the help we can get because she’s my best friend and I love her.

She’s spent so much of her life giving to others and now I’m asking for your help to help her.  Above all I please ask for your cooperation in keeping this to oneself and not reaching out to her about this. The last thing my mom would ever want is to be seen as weak. If you have any questions or would like updates please reach out to me and I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible. I know times are hard for everyone right now and I know asking for help right now isn’t the most convenient but for my mom I would do anything, thank you.
