Let's get Pugsey the life-changing surgery he needs!

Pugsey's story is a sad one. His previous owner became ill and was unable to care for themselves or Pugsey. Months elapsed and both human and pug health deteriorated and in August 2024 Social Services intervened, his lone human was taken into human care and Pugsey was placed in boarding kennels, four months later he was legally released for adoption.

Critically underweight with severe skin problems from an untreated flea infestation and suffering from chronic breathing and vision impairment, Pugsey found himself frightened and all alone in the world.

Whilst at the kennels he has received the most marvellous care - he has gained weight and his skin problems lessened, now he needs help to address the breathing and vision issues.

Incredibly generously, our trusted and expert family vets of thirty years, Willow Veterinary in Endon, have advised what surgeries Pugsey needs, have the knowledge and expertise to do this for him and will gift their talent and skills. We only need to raise the monies for the anaesthetics and painkillers.

I can provide a loving home and meet ongoing costs, but I need friends and animal lovers to help me to get Pugsey the surgery he needs.

Sweet and kind, faithful and loving, the little chap deserves a second chance and needs our love and support.
