Running for beat

Hi my name is Casey I will be running the Ipswich half in September for Beat UK which is the uk leading eating disorder charity. I have suffered with an eating disorder for a lot of years it has taken complete control of my life, it started when I was young and developed as I grew up. My eating disorder nearly killed me it was the hardest thing to overcome waking up everyday fighting the thoughts in my head trying everything I could to loose weight and skip meals and exercise. I ruined friendships, opportunities and experiences because of my eating disorder. I was lucky enough to have someone care to notice and get me help, we used beat a lot to get help and advise and I can’t think of a charity more deserving they were amazing and offered loads to help. If I can raise anything so they can support more people overcome this horrible illness it would be amazing. I know it’s a hard fight but my god it is worth it, gaining recovery meant I could rebuild my relationships, I could go out and enjoy things, I could appreciate things I lost all love for when I was ill and I could love my life again, I’m not saying it’s easy but it’s worth it xx
