Like I have been sharing with all of my facebook friends all along I am batteling IBC Breast Cancer yet again!  This is not my first bout with cancer, but this type of cancer is something new.  My treatment plan from the beginning was chemo, a double masectomy, possible radiation, and reconstructive surgery.  However the seven chemo treatments I have received have been unsuccessful.  I have been fighting, but this recent news has gotten me down.  I decided to travel to Texas to MD Anderson Cancer Center.  Upon my arrival, and doctors looking over all of my scans and tests they have recommened that I sign on for a trial that they are doing.  I beleive that this treatment is God's plans for me.  This door opened right before my eyes!  As of yesterday morning they did not have any openings.  After a few phone calls and appointments I have been approved for this.  The treatment plan is not exact yet, but will be in the next few days.  The problem is that all treatments will take place in Houston, a 10 hour drive from my house.  The delimma now is how am I going to make this happen?  I am in hopes that I can just stay here during my treatments as I feel that it would be too much of a strain physically, emotionally, and financially to travel back and forth every week. However, it will also be a strain finacially to stay here throughout the treatment.  That is why some close personal friends are creating this page for me, as a way to help.  Any money raised will go towards my copays for treatments as well as expenses incurred being away from home.  Any help would be a God send, but if you can not help me this way please continue to keep me in your prayers.  I am a fighter and will continue to fight this cancer!  It will not win!!!  I will prevail!  Love and blessings to all.
