Puerto Rico Mission Trip

I am excited for the opportunity to partner along side Timberlake Church as we head to Puerto Rico, to serve those who were affected by hurricane Maria. We will be departing on April 2nd, traveling to the city of Jayuya, located in the mountainous center region of the island, and will be returning to Seattle on April 8th.

This past September, a category four storm swept through the island leaving people without shelter, water, and electricity. Many are still recovering and remain without power.

We will be joining a credible organization that has been hosting church teams form many years. They have been present in Puerto Rico for 10 years and have established partnerships with local churches and the city governments throughout the island, in order to serve the elderly and disabled members of these communities through home repair. During our time there, we will be providing much needed maintenance, yard work and cleaning to the elderly and disabled individuals who can no longer care for their home effectively on their own. Some of the projects we will be undertaking include scraping and paining homes, sealing leaking roofs, and anything else that is needed upon our arrival.

Please be praying for safe travels, the community we will be serving and ministry we will be serving alongside

Thank you for your prayers and support!
