"Puerto Rico Rise"

Thousands of Boriquens are without food, water, shelter for the last week since Hurricane Maria, the strongest category possible, shredded through Puerto Rico. There is little access to basic necessities for the thousands of families whose homes have been damaged and destroyed. Our friends Shawn and Venessa have two homes there that has survived, that is housing their neighbors and friends with no where else to go. Please donate what you can to enable Shawn and Venessa to help their neighbors and their community back home. These are OUR community and neighbors, no matter where we live. 

Mosquito netting, water filters, food, diapers, solar panels, clean up crews to get people back on their feet, plastic sheeting for emergency shelter... We will raise these funds and do what we can in this corner of our world.

Venessa Arizaga is a jewelry designer and Shawn Roche is a photographer, both are partially based in NYC, and are amazing lovely people who JUST had a baby but still shot down to help OUR people in Puerto Rico.
