PR Recovery - Echevarría Family

Hurricane Maria devastated the island of Puerto Rico and had a large impact on the Echevarria family. Cindy and Louis, children of the late Alejandro Echevarria, are raising funds to provide support to our many relatives living on the island, located mostly in Isabela but also in Bayamon and San Juan. While we are still determining exactly what their needs are, we know that they will need funds to repair or rebuild at least two homes in Isabela, replace lost wages over the coming months, and in some cases relocate temporarily to the continental U.S. We will match every dollar raised up to $10,000.

We will give funds directly to individuals in our family to help them purchase the things they need, either through gift cards or cash donations. We will also use the funds to purchase and mail items that are in short supply once we are able to do so.

Below is a list of the family members living in Puerto Rico (by sibling of our father). Once we get information on their needs, we will update this list with more details.
