Hi everyone, as many of you know I am Jamaican, born and raised. I still have family there; uncles, cousins, niece, nephews, sister and mother. I was going to fly there in October as I try to fly to see my people once a year, but chose not to go this year, luckily. I created this account to help assist my friends and family impacted by Hurricane Melissa back home in Jamaica. Many have lost their roofs and are in need of water, food, and other supplies. There are many efforts on the island, but I have yet to see any relief for these areas—Lilliput, Granville, and parts of Mandeville. These are where my people are, and I want to do what I can to help them rebuild.
