PUBLISHING FUNDRAISER: SUPERNATURAL THINKING

I was inspired by God to write this book, "Supernatural Thinking," as the subject matter is far above and beyond my wheelhouse. The Bible is a supernatural book of wonders but one will not recognize this unless one has tuned into desiring above all else to understand it and desire its supernatural promises of eternal life, wisdom, knowledge, peace and overwhelming love.

I wanted to infuse as much of what I got supernaturally in writing this book as well as my own experiences in life, to where I am now - living a supernatural life.

Denis Waitley's book "Seeds of Greatness", led me to reading the Bible. His book was instrumental in saving my life. I believe my book "Supernatural Thinking" can do the same for others.

I was raised by God-fearing parents who instilled the values and virtues of the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." They also taught my siblings and me to work hard and always give our best. I was raised right, but I made wrong choices and paid dearly for them, hitting rock bottom and losing everything, including my self-respect, resulting in my being incarcerated for crimes committed due to my addictions. The prison experience helped changed certain aspects of my life, namely, that I never used the needle again mainlining hard drugs. I also had an important conversation with God. No conversion or born-again experience; just a heart-to-heart talk. After prison I would carry on for another 15 years as an alcoholic drinking heavily every day, starting first thing in the morning. While alcohol was my first choice, I would also snort cocaine and take valium during this period. It got to the point of near death and, after several attempts of suicide, one attempt landed me in the hospital to get my stomach pumped. I was couch surfing at the time (basically homeless) and the lady's house where I was crashing found me passed out and got me to the hospital just in time.

My first book in the Miracles For Breakfast series detailed my life story as did my second book "The Journey Continues," which was endorsed by renowned author and motivational speaker Denis Waitley. This, my third book "Supernatural Thinking," has also been endorsed by Denis Waitley and I am grateful beyond words to have one of my heroes acknowledge my work!

I wrestled with God in the writing of this book which took close to a year and a half to write about things far above my paygrade, but with God all things are possible! I was given insights that have changed my life in amazing ways and I want to share these God-given ideas with as many people as possible!

"Positive Thinking" produces positive results; it is a universal law that anyone can benefit from regardless of their belief system, in the same way, the proverb states, "There is profit in all labor." We reap what we sow!

"Supernatural Thinking" produces supernatural results, however, it is a Spiritual Law that can only be accessed by taping into "The God Factor," allowing us to take part in the Supernatural, calling the things that are not as if they were! Your dreams, your goals, overcoming failures, and addictions, making a difference that benefits others, as well as yourself! It is a lifetime pursuit and the most soul-satisfying lifestyle one can experience, both in the present and the eternal future!

This book is full of insights into "Supernatural Thinking," but here are two very intriguing verses that point to God encouraging us to think and live"Supernaturally." In Genesis 1:26, it states: Then God said "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; .... (I encourage you to read the next couple of verses). If we are made in Their, the Holy Trinity's image and according Their likeness this means we are partakers of Their divine nature. While the Good Book makes it clear His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts much higher than our thoughts, the challenge is there to do our best to emulate Them!

To back up my last statement, let's look at Proverbs 3:5, 6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths." Our understanding is natural and limited! This is why we are instructed not to lean on our understanding! We are to search, learn and discover Supernatural Thinking! Let me give you another amazing verse, which is mindblowing, found in John 14-12-14: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name I will do it."

This is astounding and far-reaching in its implications! We were created to live and think Supernaturally and have God's blessing to do so! No matter who you are, what you've done, or how low you have fallen, there is nothing that you and God can't work out together to not only get back on a happy winning track but far exceed your expectations! I know as every day I am filled with wonder about where He brought me from to where I am today! You have hope and God has a plan and a future for you with success, joy, love and peace of mind!
