Hi, my name is Adam, and I've been writing for fun throughout most of my life. Over the last two years, I've committed myself to online writing contests to improve my craft, and I'm aiming to self-publish my first novel in early 2026.

Starmirror is a young adult fiction story set in a high fantasy setting where the sensitive and studious Ruqayya is forced outside her life of comfortable anonymity to contend with strange magic and dreadful tyranny. If she can find her way past her own stubborn limitations and embrace her natural talents alongside a mismatched team of other gifted youths, she might yet realize that anyone has the power to change the world.

I feel it remains important to explore this sort of narrative to contrast the isolation and discontent so abundant in our modern age, particularly for the sake of a younger audience. Themes of discovery, teamwork, and tolerance have become ever more precious, and I'm delighted to make them central to resolving the conflicts in my novel.

As my youthful protagonists learn in their first adventures, sometimes real heroism means listening to the smallest voices and making sure others hear them too.

I currently have thirty chapters written, completing a first draft, and I am laboring to revise my work, but professional editing and marketing remain essential points in the process if I want to do this right. Unfortunately, with recent changes in my employment and housing, the cost on that front presents a serious challenge. Any funds raised will go towards these expenses.

I'm hoping to connect with people who are interested in such a story and willing to aid me in bringing my book to publication.
