Hello, my name is Frank Altomare and I am fundraising the publishing costs for a treatise I have written on social media addiction & the human brain titled "Infrastructural Psychosis: How Social Media is Re-Wiring Our Brains--And How To Fight Back"

I am going to begin releasing some recorded lectures on the concepts within Infrastructural Psychosis this week on my Patreon & Youtube channel; I encourage you to come along for the ride as we discuss the biology & neuroscience of social media addiction from a pragmatic social lens--how it affects your emotion, how it captures your attention, how it keeps you hooked, and what you can do about it.

The treatise is broken into three parts:

Part One - The Biological Cost Of Consciousness - will delve into the biology of the brain & body and elaborate on how screen technology and social media algorithms affect your attention & decision-making architecture.

Part Two - Infrastructural Psychosis - is an indictment on social media algorithms and engagement metrics; It goes into detail on how social media companies, in a cynical attempt to generate more profit for the platform, are developing personalized algorithms that prioritize high-arousal negative and outrage-based content and how, as we enter into an increasingly digitally mediated social environment, they are creating a bifurcated psychosis in individual users to keep them engaging on the platform.

Part Three - The Cognitive Sovereignty Manifesto - is an appeal to reason; it will provide practical, real-world applications of neuroscience and philosophy to give readers the tools to break the operant conditioning of what I define as Psychosocial Hyper-parasitism - where social media companies are forcing your brain into reactive fear & anxiety to shut down critical thinking and lock you into a cycle of social media engagement and outrage. As our shared digital space becomes more and more polarized, I am releasing this treatise with the hopes of potentially pulling us back from the brink of civil war.
