Hi! I want to tell you about Lisa, a good friend of mine battling lung cancer. Lise is a smalltown teacher who has worked all her life to get an education and become a Special Needs teacher. She was diagnosed last year and was not given a very good prognosis. The doctors sent her home to wait for the end. Lisa refused to accept that diagnosis and returned to the classroom this fall.

The problem is Lisa needs chemo-therapy every Monday FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE. She plans to make every day count and we need to help her! Her therapy is $7,500 a shot and while yes, she does have insurance the co-pays and weekly trips to the city are eating what is left of her alive. No one fighting cancer should have to deal with worry about co-pays, gas for trips and all the other countless expenses dealing with a life-threatening prognosis involves.
