Hello, my name is Shavon and I am fundraising on behalf of my family. A little over a year ago I uprooted my family and quit my job to move to my mother's house because she had gone blind due to diabetes. On Saturday, November 25, 2023 a day which was supposed to be one of the biggest milestones of my life (turning 40) my family experienced a fast moving electrical fire that came for everything in its path. My oldest daughter was home on college break, my mother and my disabled cousin. We lost everything from important documents to clothes, even my daughters laptop for college. Fire moved so quickly there was no time to grab anything. Because so many people hinder those in need by scamming. My family is asking for all types of help. If you know resources. If you know someone who does housework and would rather come pass and offer a helping hand with demos and clean outs. We believe every little bit counts. Your donations are much needed and appreciated because we did not have homeowners insurance. I have 2 children under the age of 6 and 1 whose a freshman in college, I am also my mothers caretaker. Losing everything I had is a humbling experience, but I need my friends and family to show up and out for us because we definitely need yall.
