Thank you for taking the time to read our campaign. Our Mother, Debborah Sue Springman was returned to her loving God on March 23rd, 2015. Having raised 4 children as a single mother, and always taking great pride in her 5 grandchildren,(The 3 oldest are pictured above) she will be missed.
I am David, her eldest. Our Mother has been ill with what most would consider normal middle aged ailments, but was taken from us rather unexpectedly just yesterday. She spent her early years as a dedicated nurse, she couldn't help but get too emotionally involved, and had to leave that behind, but held all sorts of jobs while trying to raise 4 crazy kids. She was a Christian of unwavering faith.
She had been on Social Security Disability the last few years and did not have a lot in her budget, nor did she have a fund or account for her burrial. She did however always squeeze out something special for her Grandchildren whom she dearly loved every month, and has always assisted in helping with my sister's 4 children, enabling Charlene to work to support her family, and insuring the safety of her kids.
Mom also dedicated the better part of the last 15 years in assisting my Grandfather take care of our Grandmother who was wheelchair bound and hardly able to communicate, until she passed in 2003, and assisted in caring for him until his death last February.
We three brothers, David(me), Butch, and Clayton are fairly scattered accross the country and none of us have much of an emergency type fund. So here we are and we will be eccstatic for any help we may receive.
My Mothers wishes were to be cremated and burried with her Father, Keith Springman, who was taken from her at the tender age of 7 in 1960 after a tragic car accident took his life. We are doing our best to make this all happen, as well as taking the burden off of my sister as much as possible as she is the one who has been living with and assisting our Mother as she grew more infirm.
The cremation will be handled by Hall Brothers of Corning, CA, and she will be burried with her Father at Los Molinos Cemetery as soon as we can afford it.
Thank you all for your consideration and any help is greatly appreciated. Even just sharing her story!
PS In case you were wondering, My Mother was an evassive one when it came to pictures! I will do my best to get one up.
Also all funds raised have been placed in the capable hands of a trusted family friend who will make sure they get to my sister when the time comes.
Thank You!
